High temperature phenolic caster wheels are designed for dry high heat environments making the an excellent choice for ovens, powder coating operations & other high heat industrial environments.

Made from phenolic resin-impregnated material that is molded under high pressure, the hard tread rolls easily while providing impact resistance. This Wheel has excellent resistance to oil, grease, most acids, chemicals & cleaning solutions. Designed to handle temperatures up to 475°F continuously & 525°F intermittently, with intermittent exposure defined as 30 minutes in heat followed by a 30 minute cooling cycle.

We often recommend high temperature phenolic wheels over high temperature nylon when applications involve longer-term heat exposure & heavy static loads (closer to the maximum sum of all caster capacity, as nylon wheels can soften ever so slightly when subjected to sustained high temperatures. We do not recommend this wheel for frequent wash downs or wet conditions. For those applications, we recommend high temp nylon or high temp epoxy.

* Offers a quieter rolling experience compared to steel wheels. If temperature needed exceed 525°F, consider our high temp epoxy or steel wheels.
