UTILITY SKATES

Utility Skates are the world’s most versatile machinery moving dollies on the market, ideal for both turning and straight line moving applications. Capacities range from 1.5 tons to 37.5 tons per skate, rolling on interchangeable steel or polyurethane coated rollers. Fully welded steel frames bring the ruggedness and unmatched quality you know and expect from us. A wide stance provides increased stability and weight distribution under load. Their low profile design allows for minimum load jacking and maximum load clearance. Utility Skates are available in two varieties, Tilting and Non-Tilting.

Tilt-Type Utility Skates

Tilt-Type Utility Skates are our most maneuverable machinery dollies. With the exception of some lighter duty models, each roller dolly is equipped with two 3-1/2″ Ø center support rollers and two 3-1/4″ Ø front and rear rollers, one on each end. This wheel layout provides a tilting axis that provides exceptional turning ability and easier moving over uneven floors, welds, tracks, gaps, up ramps and more. Each Skate can turn on its own radius.

Tilt-Type Utility Skates are available in two varieties, Rigid and Swivel, which can be combined in numerous configurations for various moving needs.

Non-Tilt Utility Skates

Non-Tilt Utility Skates combine the stability and increased load capacities of our larger straight line skates with the improved climbing and leading inherent to our the tilt-type models. Each skate is equipped with four 3-1/2″ Ø center support rollers and two 3-1/4″ Ø front and rear rollers, one on each end. The extra support rollers do not allow for tilting, however they maintain their climbing functionality and ability to move over uneven floors, welds, tracks, gaps, and more.

Non-Tilt Utility Skates are available in two varieties, Rigid and Swivel, that can be combined in numerous configurations for various moving needs.

STRAIT LINE SKATES

Straight Line Skates are as their name suggests, the ultimate machinery moving dollies for straight line moving. Straight Line Skates are ideal for narrow, limited space moving and heavy duty straight line moving applications. Capacities range from 2.5 tons to 100 tons per skate, rolling on interchangeable steel or polyurethane coated rollers. Fully welded steel frames bring the ruggedness and unmatched quality you know and expect from us. Their low profile design allows for minimum load jacking and maximum load clearance. A wide stance provides increased stability and weight distribution under load. Straight Line Skates are available in three varieties, Slim, Short and Long.

Long Straight Line Skates are the ultimate heavy duty roller dollies to handle the weight of your most extreme moves. Two rows of tandem rollers in a long, fully welded steel frame gives the best stability under load. These skates are favored for handling the heaviest jobs for machinery movers, riggers, stevedores and contractors. Capacities range from 10 tons to 100 tons per skate.

Long Straight Line Skate

Short Straight Line Skates utilize many of the same features of their longer counterpart in a shorter frame. Two rows of tandem rollers in a shorter, fully welded steel frame gives excellent stability under load. These skates are favored for handling the heaviest jobs for machinery movers, riggers, stevedores and contractors. Capacities range from 6 tons to 30 tons per skate.

Short Straight Line Skate

lim Straight Line Skates are based on the same concepts as our long and short skates in a narrower frame. A single row of tandem rollers in a fully welded steel frame provides heavy duty moving capabilities where space is limited . Capacities range from 2.5 tons to 12.5 tons per skate.

Slim Straight Line Skate

COMPACT SWIVEL SKATES

Compact Swivel Skates pack a lot of moving capacity in a small, low profile package. Perfect for light to medium duty loads requiring full directional control. Capacities range from 1.5 tons to 12.5 tons per skate, rolling on interchangeable steel or polyurethane coated rollers. Each swivel top skate has a friction plate between the top frame of the dolly and bottom surface of the swivel plate to reduce swimming under load and eliminating the need for a locking mechanism. Swivel tops are easily removable with an hex key wrench for straight line moving applications without the need to purchase additional skates. Compact Swivel Skates are available individually as well as convenient kits with a steel job box and placement handle. The Rocker Top models CS-25 and CS-25-P both provide built in tilting functionality.

Each skate is equipped with two 3-1/4″ Ø rollers.

PARTS

Hevi-Haul Skates require minimal maintenance to ensure a very long life of use in the field. To properly care for your Skates you should always keep rolling surfaces free from debris, evenly distribute the weight across all dollies, and never edge load. Routinely check them over after every move and keep them well greased at all times. Replacement parts are available for all of our standard roller dollies to keep them operating at peak performance.
