4" x 2" Phenolic Wheel Swivel Brake Caster - Part #: 146DURB420SB

Phenolic wheels are a great alternative to steel wheels. Phenolic wheels give you similar capacities to steel wheels, however, they provide better floor protection, slightly quieter rolling, do not rust, & are more economically priced.

Phenolic wheels are made using phenolic resin mixed with macerated canvas which yields a high capacity & high impact wheel. They have hard treads & will not flat spot over time which is why they are often used on equipment that is under constant heavy loads, such as storage bins, dumpsters & BBQ Pits. Phenolic wheels are resistant to oil, grease, solvents, non-metallic & non-sparking.

We recommend phenolic wheels for many applications, however, if you need more floor protection, a cushioned ride, or a quiet rolling wheel, we recommend you look at the thermoplastic rubber wheel or polyurethane wheels.

*Please note temperature ratings are dependent upon the bearing selected. Unless noted otherwise in the options, bearings will have a 180°F temperature rating.

Great Casters

I’ve bought 6- sets of four casters form Mapp Caster over the past few years. They are by far the best I’ve ever used. No issues rolling on hard surfaces and the do not flat spot which is a big plus when all my carts or stands I’ve built carry heavy loads and sometimes set for a few years with heavy weight on them.
