Polyurethane wheels provide superior floor protection, non-marking treads, quieter rolling, and smoother rides compared to steel or phenolic wheels, with similar load capacities. Polyurethane on aluminum casters is considered premium, offering added benefits such as being lighter, easier to roll, rust-resistant, and having a chemically bonded tread to prevent de-bonding. These wheels are suitable for most applications but not recommended for hot or cold applications.

Poly on Aluminum wheels come in variety of colors, tread shapes & durometer to meet your application needs. While the color doesn’t affect performance, the shape & durometer will. Crowned wheels minimize friction enabling the wheels to turn easier & require less effort to begin and maintain rolling compared to flat treads. The durometer affects the amount of cushion provided.

* This brake kit has a maximum temperature rating of 180°F due to its plastic pedal construction.

* This face contact brake is not compatible with all casters. However, we've found this particular caster to be one of the few that pairs effectively with it. These brakes are not intended for use on slopes or inclined surfaces. Excessive force or pushing against the wheel may reduce braking effectiveness or cause slippage.
