Solid polyurethane wheels feature a one-piece construction that eliminates the tread de-bonding failures commonly seen with traditional polyurethane treaded wheels, while still delivering high load capacities & excellent durability. The non-marking tread is floor protective & safe for hardwood, tile & other finished surfaces. With a hard tread like Shore D 60, these wheels have minimal deformation under load which improves push efficiency. Additionally its moderately crowned tread improves swiveling & maneuverability. This wheel is ideal for smooth floors.

Designed for demanding wet environments, this wheel is fully washable & steam cleanable while resisting grease, oils, cleaning chemicals, blood & brine. Its durability makes it a popular choice for food industry, washdown & sanitary applications. Not recommended for use around acids. For even more resistance, we recommend looking at our stainless steel casters.

Polyurethane wheels come in variety of colors, tread shapes & durometers to meet your application needs. While the color doesn’t affect performance, the tread shape & durometer will.

* This brake kit has a maximum temperature rating of 180°F due to its plastic pedal construction.

* This face contact brake is not compatible with all casters. However, we've found this particular caster to be one of the few that pairs effectively with it. These brakes are not intended for use on slopes or inclined surfaces. Excessive force or pushing against the wheel may reduce braking effectiveness or cause slippage.
