4" x 2" Ductile Steel V-Groove Wheel Swivel Caster with Total Locking Brake - Part # 146DVRB420SBTL

V groove wheels are designed to guide equipment by rolling on inverted angle iron track, however, they can also operate off the track thanks to the tread on either side of the v-groove.

Ductile steel wheels are the next level up in capacity & durability from cast iron wheels. Made from a combination of alloys that provide excellent tensile strength, these wheels come with extra thick treads, hub & walls. For maximum capacity & durability, check out our premium forged steel wheel casters.

While ductile steel is very resilient, it is tough on floors & could lead to floor damage. For heavy duty floor protective wheels, be sure to check out our polyurethane wheels.

* Please note temperature ratings are dependent upon the bearing selected. Unless noted otherwise in the options, bearings will have a 180°F temperature rating. 

* Total locking brake casters work best with softer wheels like neoprene, soft rubber, thermoplastic rubber & polyurethane. The softer wheel allows the brake pad to grip the tread effectively. While total locking brakes also work with harder wheels, a strong push may cause slight movement of the caster wheel.
