Plastic caster wheels are solid injected molded polyolefin which yields a high shock load, impact resistant, and abrasion resistant wheel. These wheels are lightweight yet hold high weight capacities and are also non-marking. They also are washable, impervious to water, and highly resistant to solvents, oils, grease, most chemicals, and cleaning solutions. These wheels do not flat spot over time like softer tread wheels. It is because of these many features and economical price point that plastic wheel casters are very popular.

We recommend these wheels for many applications, however, if you need a smooth cushioned ride, we recommend you look at the thermoplastic rubber wheel or polyurethane wheels.
