Steel casters are built for some of the most demanding applications where extreme capacities & or high temperatures are needed. Available in cast iron, ductile iron & forged steel wheel options, these casters are designed to withstand impacts & shock loads. Excellent choice for warehouses, ovens, powder coating & other industrial applications. Unlike polyurethane, steel wheels are not affected by prolonged high temperatures or direct sunlight. Unlike phenolic resin or high temp nylon, steel can withstand temperatures up to 1,300°F. While steel wheels prioritize durability & heat resistance over floor protection, they deliver low rolling resistance under heavy loads on smooth concrete surfaces. Specifically recommended for rolling across steel grating surfaces as all other wheels will get torn up. Our cast iron wheel is best described as semi-steel as it blended with additional steel over standard cast iron.

  • This wheel is rated brinell 145 which is hard & provides the best rolling experience on smooth concrete floors.  
  • Flat tread doesn't assist with rolling, swiveling & pivoting        
  • Large selection of bearings & bushings to tailor your wheel to your needs & budget.
  • Max temperature of 600°F. Temperature ratings vary based on bearing selection.
  • Good Impact & shock resistance
  • May cause floor damage overtime, especially if its rolling back forth in the exact same spot

Our ductile steel wheel utilizes a specialized steel alloy for increased strength. Tensile strength of 45,000 PSI.
