Polyurethane on Aluminum wheels offer more floor protection, non-marking treads, quieter rolling, & smoother rides compared to steel or phenolic wheels while still providing comparable load capacities. Polyurethane on aluminum caster wheels are considered the premium polyurethane wheel. These caster wheels offer all the benefits of polyurethane on iron wheels & also has the added benefit of being lighter, easier to roll, resistant to rust/corrosion & have a mechanically bonded tread helping to prevent the tread from de-bonding from the core. These wheels can be used in most applications, but are not recommended for hot or cold applications.

Poly on Aluminum wheels come in variety of colors, tread shapes & durometer to meet your application needs. While the color doesn’t affect performance, the shape and durometer will. Crowned wheels minimize friction enabling the wheels to turn easier & require less effort to begin & maintain rolling compared to flat treads. The durometer affects the amount of cushion provided.
