Ductile Flanged wheels are designed to roll on rails & are the next level up in capacity & durability from cast iron wheels. Made from a combination of alloys that provide excellent tensile strength, these wheels come with extra thick treads, hubs & walls. Ductile steel is a step up from cast iron, offering higher capacity & temperatures. For even greater capacity, consider the heavier-duty forged steel wheels.
