The CG-MAX polyurethane on aluminum caster wheel is engineered for maximum efficiency, durability & ergonomic performance in demanding applications. Providing floor protection & non-marking experience on even the nicest of floors like hardwood & tile. its large precision ball bearings reduce rolling resistance, while the crowned (round) tread improves maneuverability for easier turning & pivoting. The firmer shore A 95 durometer tread minimizes deformation under load, reducing rolling resistance & improving push efficiency. This caster is a customer favorite, delivers one of the best rolling experiences possible on smooth floors.

The tread is chemically & mechanically bonded to the aluminum core to improve adhesion, significantly reducing the risk of de-treading common with standard polyurethane wheels. The dual bonded tread plus the aluminum core greatly increases its resistance to water & rust. This caster wheel is a great alternative to polyurethane on iron, offering comparable capacity with a lighter-weight core. While polyurethane is highly versatile, its lifespan can be reduced by extreme temperatures & prolonged exposure to direct sunlight.

This caster is most commonly utilized in automotive manufacturing & is rated for towing (up to 3 MPH). If used for towing, we recommend using the kingpinless version of this caster for added durability & increased longevity. NSF certified & RoHS compliant.

Poly on Aluminum wheels come in variety of colors, tread shapes & durometers to meet your application needs. While the color doesn’t affect performance, the tread shape & durometer will.

* Total locking brake casters work best with softer wheels like neoprene, soft rubber, thermoplastic rubber & polyurethane. The softer wheel allows the brake pad to grip the tread effectively. While total locking brakes also work with harder wheels, a strong push may cause slight movement of the caster wheel.
