Plastic caster wheels are solid injected molded polyolefin which yields a high shock load, impact resistant, and abrasion resistant wheel. These wheels are lightweight yet hold high weight capacities and are also non-marking. They also are washable, impervious to water, highly resistant to solvents, oils, grease, most chemicals & cleaning solutions. These wheels do not flat spot over time like softer tread wheels. It is because of these many features and economical price point that plastic wheel casters are very popular.

We recommend these wheels for many applications, however, if you need a more smooth, quiet, or cushioned ride, we recommend you look at the thermoplastic rubber wheel or polyurethane wheels.

* This brake kit has a maximum temperature rating of 180°F due to its plastic pedal construction.

* This face contact brake is not compatible with all casters. However, we've found this particular caster to be one of the few that pairs effectively with it. These brakes are not intended for use on slopes or inclined surfaces. Excessive force or pushing against the wheel may reduce braking effectiveness or cause slippage.
