Polyurethane on aluminum wheels provide superior floor protection, quiet operation, and smooth rolling compared to steel or phenolic wheels, while maintaining comparable load capacities. These premium caster wheels are lighter, rust-resistant, and easier to roll than polyurethane on iron wheels, with a mechanically bonded tread to prevent de-bonding. Ideal for most applications (excluding extreme temperatures), they are available in various colors, tread shapes, and durometers.

While color is aesthetic, tread shape and durometer impact performance—crowned treads reduce rolling resistance, and durometer affects cushioning and load capacity.

* This brake kit has a maximum temperature rating of 180°F due to its plastic pedal construction.

* This face contact brake is not compatible with all casters. However, we've found this particular caster to be one of the few that pairs effectively with it. These brakes are not intended for use on slopes or inclined surfaces. Excessive force or pushing against the wheel may reduce braking effectiveness or cause slippage.
