8" x 2" Polyurethane on Aluminum Core Wheel - Part # 2WS38208

Polyurethane on Aluminum wheels offer more floor protection, non-marking treads, quieter rolling, & smoother rides compared to steel or phenolic wheels while still providing comparable load capacities. Polyurethane on aluminum caster wheels are considered the premium polyurethane wheel. These caster wheels offer all of the benefits of polyurethane on iron wheels, and also has the added benefit of being lighter, easier to roll, resistant to rust/corrosion, and have a mechanically bonded tread helping to prevent the tread from de-bonding from the core. These wheels can be used in most applications, but are not recommended for extreme hot or cold applications. 

Poly on Aluminum wheels come in variety of colors, tread shapes & durometers to meet your application needs. While the color doesn’t affect performance, the shape and durometer will. Crowned wheels minimize friction enabling the wheels to turn easier and require less effort to begin and maintain rolling comparted to flat treads. The durometer affects the amount of cushion provided and capacity.
