8" x 2" Cast Iron Rigid Caster - Part # 146CIRB820R

Cast iron is the industry standard metal caster wheel used across a wide range of heavy duty applications. This wheel differs from traditional cast iron designs because it is classified as semi-steel. With reduced carbon content & additional steel blended into the casting, it delivers improved capacities, strength, durability & impact resistance compared to standard cast iron wheels. In addition to its stronger material composition, this wheel also features heavier duty spokes for added reinforcement & durability.

While cast iron is very strong, it is tough on floors & could lead to floor damage. For heavy duty floor protective wheels, be sure to check out our polyurethane casters.
