Rubber on iron core wheels are designed for strength and smooth performance. The solid iron core delivers exceptional load capacity and long-term durability, while the rubber tread provides a quiet, cushioned ride that protects floors from scratches and wear.

Because the wheels are black rubber, they can leave a mark on the floor much like tires can leave marks on the road if they skid. If you need a non-marking wheel or more capacity, we recommend our thermoplastic rubber wheels or polyurethane wheels.

*We would not recommend this wheel for applications that require sitting in one spot for long periods of time under load as it can lead to flat spotting.

* This brake kit has a maximum temperature rating of 180°F due to its plastic pedal construction.

* This face contact brake is not compatible with all casters. However, we've found this particular caster to be one of the few that pairs effectively with it. These brakes are not intended for use on slopes or inclined surfaces. Excessive force or pushing against the wheel may reduce braking effectiveness or cause slippage.
