High Temp Dual Wheel Casters

Not every application fits a standard caster, and sometimes an application will accept no compromises. That's why we are now offering a caster that can handle unique challenges such as low clearances, high heat environments AND heavy loads.

How much can they carry?

Answer: a whole lot!

These dual wheel caster pack a punch for its size, carrying loads up to 450 lbs each. This means that just one of these wheels is capable of carrying 225 lbs by itself, which is a considerable amount of weight for a 2 inch wheel.

A set of 4 of these dual wheel casters can provide up to 1,800 lbs of carrying capacity, as long as the weight is evenly distributed.

How hot is hot?

Answer: very!

Designed for demanding environments, these casters can operate in temperatures from -20°F up to 425°F, and can be pushed to withstand up to 475°F intermittently (for no more than 30 minutes, followed by at least 30 minutes cool time).

How well do they roll?

Answer: pretty dang well!

While smaller wheels naturally require more effort to roll, this caster's precision ball bearings help minimize rolling resistance. The wheels are quite dense, rated at Shore D 85, making them ideal for smooth floors.

Finally, the swivel caster's swivel section uses a double ball bearing raceway that assists with turning, pivoting & mobility.

Final Thoughts

Every caster will be better for one application over another. These high-performance jack-of-many-trades are best for applications involving clearance issues, paint booths, ovens, powder coating, and other hot applications where floor protection isn't the priority.
